How do I join NHS?

To Join You Must: 

  • Be currently in grade 10/11 with a MINIMUM cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5
  • Attend a mandatory informational meeting after receiving an invitation around January
  • Have a documented 23 points of leadership/scholarship. Points can be earned through (but not limited to):
    • weighted classes
    • school clubs/activites
    • sports
    • membership to other societies
  • Have documented volunteer service hours through non-profit organizations that are non-school sponsored. 
    • 20 hours for current Sophomores
    • 30 hours for current Juniors
  • Be of good character and good standing within the school community
