- The above 3 required courses are usually taken by students in the following sequence:
- 9th Grade – American Government
- 10th Grade – World History
- 11th Grade – U.S. History
** Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, the sequence will shift to the following*:
- 9th Grade –U.S. History
- 10th Grade –American Government
- 11th Grade –World History
- In addition to the 3 courses named above the C.M. Wright Social Studies Department offers the following 3 AP courses that fulfill a graduation requirement:
- AP U.S. Government (fulfills 9th grade American Government)
- AP World History (fulfills 10th grade World History)
- AP U.S. History (fulfills 11th grade U.S. History)
