Accessing resources at a high school can be overwhelming, especially if you are a freshman or a transfer student. However, we want to assure you that C. Milton Wright provides a variety of resources to help you succeed academically and socially. Here are some tips on how to access them:

  1. Get to know your school counselor: Your school counselor is an excellent resource who can help you with academic planning, college applications, and personal issues. Take the time to introduce yourself to your counselor and schedule an appointment to discuss any questions or concerns you have.   2. Attend Back-to-School Nights and Information Presentations: Back-to-School Night is an opportunity to meet your teachers and learn about their expectations and classroom policies. Information nights take place surrounding important information that you may need such as: Military Night, Dual Enrollment Night, and Naviance Night. Take advantage of these opportunities and ask questions, seek out more information and gather information.
  3. Visit the library: C. Milton Wright’s library is a great resource for academic research, studying, and access to technology. Mrs. Buckley, our librarian, can also help you find resources and materials for your projects and assignments.
  4. Join a club or organization: High schools offer a variety of clubs and organizations, including academic, social, and athletic groups. Joining a club or organization is an excellent way to meet new people and explore your interests.   5. Check the school website: This website is a valuable resource for information on events, clubs, and important dates.
