C. Milton Wright High School is a Maryland Green School and a USA EcoSchool. The Maryland Green School is administered by the Maryland Association of Environmental and Outdoor Education and the USA EcoSchools is administered by the National Wildlife Federation. Both involve an extensive and comprehensive application process which have to be renewed ever 4 years. Students, teachers, parents, and the community are all involved in the application process.
